All Ben-Zion's jewelry is Handmade from Sterling Silver. Watch the artist prepare the silver threads himself, interweaving them to the left and to the right in order to achieve that special and unique braided effect.

Ben-Zion explains:

"My filigree jewelry is made using a very old technique that is disappearing from our world. Creating a masterpiece requires attention to fine details, great imagination and of course, patience. Each piece is decorated with swirling wires and actually, many can be made out of a single strand. By twisting the silver threads, bending and interweaving them into different shapes, a bracelet or a pair of earrings can be created right before your eyes. It is really very magical to begin with a simple wire and finish with a work of art."

Ben-Zion's workshop and gallery have turned into a popular destination for buyers and tourists from all over the world. In addition to his work as a jewelry designer, Ben-Zion lectures frequently about the fading art of the traditional Yemenite silversmith. Demonstrations are given once a week or by appointment.
